Athlete Items come in two different Forms:
- Franchise Items, which exist indefinitely, and are based on the duration of the Athlete’s career. All Franchise Items are denoted with a Franchise Tag on the left frame axis of the Item.
- Expiring Items, which expire 12 months from the Pack Open date. All Expiring Items do NOT have a Franchise Tag denotation on the left frame axis of the Item.
Users have a higher probability of getting Franchise Items from higher priced, higher rarity Packs. Users can also attain Franchise Tags, which allow them to permanently change an Expiring Item into a Franchise Item. Franchise tags can be attained through the Franchise Pass or randomly in Packs. Once an Item has been modified to a Franchise Item, it becomes Untradeable - meaning it cannot be bought or sold on the Marketplace.
