GameBlazers Items have two different Types:
- Athlete Items, which represent the underlying statistics of a professional athlete in American Football. They can be bought or sold on the GB Marketplace and come in two Forms: Expiring Items (with 12-month use from their Pack open date) and Franchise Items (perpetual use over an Athletes career).
- Modifier Items allow Users to permanently modify an Item of their choosing from their Roster. Modifier Items can be attained by leveling-up the GB Franchise Pass and unlocking them at certain levels, or by finding them in Packs. More information about Modifier Items are shown at the bottom of the page.
Athlete Items come in two different Forms:
- Franchise Items exist indefinitely, and are based on the duration of the Athlete’s career. All Franchise Items are denoted with a Franchise Tag in the top left corner of the Item.
- Expiring Items expire 12 months from the Pack Open date. All Expiring Items do NOT have a Franchise Tag in the top left corner of the Item.
One of the unique aspects about Items are their Multipliers. Each Item has a Multiplier that ranges in value from 1.0x to 1.5x, growing in 1.0x increments (1.0x, 1.1x, 1.2x, 1.3x, 1.4x, 1.5x).
- Multiplier Scoring Example: A running back (RB) scored 10 fantasy points. Below is the scoring chart for that specific Item based on each Multiplier Level - Point Totals are equal to Points times Multiplier (Points x Multiplier):
- 10 points (1.0x Multiplier) = 10 points total
- 10 points (1.1x Multiplier) = 11 points total
- 10 points (1.2x Multiplier) = 12 points total
- 10 points (1.3x Multiplier) = 13 points total
- 10 points (1.4x Multiplier) = 14 points total
- 10 points (1.5x Multiplier) = 15 points total
Items also have corresponding Rarities, which relate to the frequency of the Item in the overall distribution, based on its specific Multiplier and Athlete combination. This means that an Item's Rarity is based on how of that specific Athlete and Multiplier combination is available in the Total Item Player Pool. The specific Rarity distribution odds, per Pack, can be found below:
Pack Name | Common Item Probability | Rare Item Probability | Epic Item Probability | Legendary Item Probability |
Fortify Pack | 66.14% | 30.00% | 3.24% | 0.25% |
Common Pack | 51.72% | 41.00% | 5.98% | 1.21% |
Rare Pack | 34.61% | 52.00% | 10.98% | 2.75% |
Epic Pack | 8.07% | 55.00% | 26.68% | 9.92% |
Legendary Pack | 2.36% | 40.00% | 35.35% | 22.30% |
Modifier Items allow Users to permanently modify an Item of their choosing from their Roster. Modifier Items can be attained by leveling-up the Franchise Pass and unlocking them at certain levels, or by finding them in Packs. Below is a bulleted list of the Modifier Items available on the platform and how they work.
- Boost Items allow a User to increase the Multiplier from one level to the next – but can only be applied to specific Items based on which Boosts and Items they have in their Inventory. For example, if a User has a 1.1x Boost, that means they can only apply it to a 1.1x Item, boosting the Multiplier up one level to 1.2x. Below are the Boost Items with their corresponding leveling system:
- 1.0x Boost – Boosts a 1.0x Multiplier to a 1.1x Multiplier
- 1.1x Boost – Boosts a 1.1x Multiplier to a 1.2x Multiplier
- 1.2x Boost – Boosts a 1.2x Multiplier to a 1.3x Multiplier
- 1.3x Boost – Boosts a 1.3x Multiplier to a 1.4x Multiplier
- 1.4x Boost – Boosts a 1.4x Multiplier to a 1.5x Multiplier
- Franchise Tags allow a User to permanently upgrade an Expiring Item to a Franchise Item once it is applied. Once an Item has been modified with a Franchise tag, it becomes Untradeable - meaning it cannot be bought or sold.
- Contract Extensions allow a User to extend the life of an Expiring Item by an additional 3-months – Extensions can also be used on Items that have already expired.
