Contests function similarly to traditional Daily Fantasy Sports (DFS) products. Each User has the ability to set a lineup, and must meet the Salary Cap requirements in order to submit a valid entry. Users can set lineups with any Items they have in their Inventory as long as it meets the Salary Cap requirements – lineups that do not meet the Salary Cap requirements, or do not at least surpass the minimum (50% of total salary cap) Salary Cap threshold, will not be able to be submitted.
GameBlazers Contests currently have two formats:
- Free-to-Play: which only provide on-platform Credit Prizes; Credits may be redeemed for additional Packs.
- Free-Rolls: which provide Cash Prizes, and are paid out weekly to eligible User based on their Contest placements. Users must KYC and verify both their age and location in order to participate in Free-Roll Contests.
All GameBlazers Contest Structures, with their respective configurations, can be viewed in the table below:
Contest Type | Contest Prize | Contest Level | Contest Name | Number of Items | MAX Entries | Lineup Positions | |||||
QB | RB | WR | TE | FLEX | SFLEX | ||||||

All Free-Roll Contests adhere to, and meet, the minimum requirements for Daily Fantasy Sports style Contest Types.
A User must meet Salary Cap requirements when setting Lineups. An Items Salary Amount takes into consideration the Athlete and Multiplier, as well as the other elements that are factored into an Items Salary each week such as performance, matchup, etc. Like DFS, that Salary moves up or down each week depending on the matchup and other varying factors. Base Salaries MAY ADJUST on a week-to-week basis, and will move more prior to the start of Week 1 each year as we wait for our Data Provider to push current year Week 1 Salaries to the platform.
Below is an example of what an Athlete Items Salary would look like based on their Multiplier:
- Salary Cap Example: Assuming the Athlete Item has a $10,000 Base Salary, the following is what the Salary Cap would look like at each Multiplier Level:
- 1.0x Multiplier = $10,000 Salary Cap Hit
- 1.1x Multiplier = $11,000 Salary Cap Hit
- 1.2x Multiplier = $12,000 Salary Cap Hit
- 1.3x Multiplier = $13,000 Salary Cap Hit
- 1.4x Multiplier = $14,000 Salary Cap Hit
- 1.5x Multiplier = $15,000 Salary Cap Hit
